Our Water group, at our Mt. Laurel location, is currently requesting resumes from highly motivated civil /environmental engineers with interest in portable water distribution systems, sanitary and storm water collection systems, and green stormwater infrastructure (GSI) in the urban environment.  

    Responsibilities

    • Develop, coordinate, and execute engineering methods affecting a wide range of engineering activities.
    • Regular contact with professional engineering consultants, clients, governmental agencies, involved communities and contractors in connection with complex and difficult engineering matters.
    • Overall supervision and review of detailed and complex engineering calculations, plans, specifications, construction cost estimates, and technical papers.
    • Responsible for planning, designing and providing guidance in the development of potable water supply, transmission, and distribution mains.
    • Responsible for planning, designing and providing guidance in the development of sanitary sewer collection systems.
    • Responsible for planning, designing and providing guidance in the development of green storm water infrastructure systems.
    • Mitigates utility conflicts with existing utility companies and proposed water / sewer/ green infrastructure.
    • Develops and reviews conceptual drawings related to infrastructure design.
    • Develops and reviews construction documents and specifications.
    • Reviews and prepares calculations, permit applications, monitoring plans and progress reports.
    • Works with staff to complete project plans, specifications, cost estimates to client standards and within project budgets and deadlines
    • Responsible for studies, preparing designs, and contract documents for water supply infrastructure projects.

    Qualifications

    • Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering.
    • 0-1 year of experience in the civil/environmental engineering field.
    • Experience with AutoCAD is required.
