  • Overview

    As an Applications Developer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining enterprise software applications

    Responsibilities

    • Customization of third party systems or the integration between internal applications and third party systems.
    • Create solution technical designs, to maintain code base for enhancements and fixes, including review of requirements specifications and preparation of technical specifications, estimates, unit testing, code reviews and associated technical documentation.
    • Maintain software applications.
    • Develop enterprise software applications.
    • Build intranet / internet applications.
    • Provide technical operational support of .Net/C# implemented solutions.
    • Maintain and improve system availability, performance and functionality.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Computer Information Systems or related field or extensive applicable experience plus 2-3+ years in Systems development.
    • Experience of development using C# and ASP.NET Framework 2.0-4.x, including experience with Visual Studio.
    • Proficiency developing ASP.NET Web Forms and Web Services.
    • General SharePoint knowledge, in particular, developing web parts, use of the Client Object Model and Sharepoint Web Services.
    • Web Interface Design, HTML, JavaScript, XML and CSS experience.
    • Strong experience developing with relational databases and SQL coding in both Microsoft SQL Server.
    • Knowledge of IT systems including a general technical knowledge of hardware, software, databases and database technologies.
    • Prior experience in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction and Public Sector industries.
