Review the maps on the magnet board in the district’s dispatch office (Master Copy) for any changes and copy to “editing maps”
Review as-builds for capital projects and make note of changes
Field check the as-build to ensure field conditions match the construction prints then copy to editing maps, checking that devices such as cutouts, reclosers, regulators, caps, stepdown transformers, etc. are on the correct pole #
Review the editing maps and ensure that they adhere to drafting standards. Examples include but not limited to:
Underground circuitry lines are a heavier line width than overhead
Orientation of circuit numbers at open points are correct
Fuse coordination is correct (e.g. a 100K fuse isn’t downstream of a 65K fuse)
Any issues identified will be reconciled with the EOE
Device symbols are drawn correctly
Review editing maps with the Electric Operations Engineer (and obtain his or her approval to send to drafting
Send approved editing maps to drafting. Drafters will create check prints with changes annotated in red.
Review check prints to ensure they match the editing maps
