Overview

Under the direction of the CFO, the Assistant Collection Manager provides management and oversight of all aspects of the Company’s Collections efforts.

 

Responsibilities

• Assist CFO with the management and oversight of a two member Collections Team
• Research and resolve discrepancies in client billing and payments
• Assist with the coordinate of collections activities toward achievement of the monthly cash collection target
• Work with internal billing managers to communicate situations impacting prompt customer payment due to operational issue

• Work on special projects and contribute to improvements to the overall processes
• Manages relationships with both internal and external clients
• Assist in providing A/R related audit requests
• Work with collection and legal agencies for past due accounts
• Develop and communicate reports indicating A/R Balances and other pertinent information
• Communicate billing manager and department status in a clear and concise manner to CFO
• Complete other duties as assigned by CFO

Qualifications

  • Experience providing guidance to staff
  • BS/BA in Accounting and/or Finance; related field is preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Working knowledge of BST a plus
  • Staff oversight and people development skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Prior personal services environment experience preferred
